The Marin County and San Rafael government have partnered together to convert an office building into a supportive housing complex for formerly homeless residents. The project will cost $33 million and will offer 32 studio apartments and 8 one-bedroom apartments, as well as a two-bedroom apartment for the site manager. It will also provide rental assistance, health and mental health care and other services for those who have experienced prolonged homelessness. It is located across the street from the Marin Health and Wellness Campus, providing easy access to health, mental health and substance abuse services.
